Analysis : This quote foreshadows that the families father is not a family based type of person, he doesn't seem too have a close bond with the family yet, his main priority seems too be business.
Quote : "Crammed into cattle trains by Hungarian police as they wept bitterly". (Wiesel pg.16)
Analysis : This just shows how heartless the police were. They took innocent people away from their families and crammed them into small trains as if they were worthless. The police showed no remorse for what they were doing, when they knew exactly where they were being sent and what would happen to most people.
